Visiting the Website
When you visit our website, our servers temporarily log every access in a log file. The following technical data — as is standard for every connection to a web server — is collected automatically, without any action on your part, and stored until it is automatically or manually deleted after no more than 12 months: the IP address of the requesting computer, the name of the IP address range holder (usually your internet service provider), the date and time of access, the website from which access was made (referrer URL), where applicable including the search term used, the name and URL of the retrieved file, the status code (e.g. error message), your computer's operating system, the browser you are using (type, version and language), and the transfer protocol used (e.g. HTTP/1.1).
You can visit our website without providing any personal data. We only store the access data contained in the so-called server log file, such as the name of the file, the date and time of your visit, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider. This information is used solely to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the site and to improve our services, without being able to link the data to you personally.
Cookies
Cookies help in many ways to make your visit to our website easier, more pleasant, and more meaningful. Cookies are information files that your web browser automatically saves to your computer's hard drive when you visit our website. For example, we use cookies to provide you with the shopping cart function across multiple pages and to temporarily save your entries when you fill out a form on the website, so you don't have to re-enter information when you navigate to another page. Cookies may also be used to identify you as a registered user after you have registered on the website, so you don't need to log in again when accessing a different subpage. Most internet browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer, or so that you always receive a notification when you receive a new cookie.
Data Storage
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the use of the tracking and analytics services mentioned above, as well as for any further processing carried out in the context of our legitimate interests. Contract-related data is retained for longer periods, as required by statutory retention obligations.
We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide your contact details, when you contact us (e.g. via our contact form or by email), or when you open a customer account. The data collected in each case is shown in the respective input forms. We use the data you share with us to process your orders and respond to your enquiries. Upon completion of a contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked and deleted once the applicable tax and statutory retention periods have expired, provided you have not consented to further use of your data and we do not hold lawful permission to use certain data, of which you will be informed. You may delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the contact details provided below, or by using the function available in your customer account settings.
Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
We only share your personal data if you have expressly consented to a legal obligation to do so, or if it is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce claims arising from the contractual relationship. In addition, we share your data with third parties to the extent necessary for the use of the website and the processing of contracts (including outside the website), i.e. the fulfilment of your order. This includes the respective payment service provider. The website is hosted on servers around the world. The transfer of data serves to provide and maintain the functionality of our website. This is our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) EU GDPR.
With regard to the processing of your credit card information by these third parties, we ask that you also read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of your credit card issuer.
Our website uses services from Shopify. Your data will be shared with these providers where necessary. The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by the providers, as well as your related rights and privacy protection options, can be found in the providers' privacy notices.
Transfer of Data Abroad
We are also entitled to transfer your personal data to third parties (contracted service providers) abroad for the purposes of data processing described in this privacy policy. These parties are bound by the same data protection obligations as we are. We may transfer your personal data to recipients abroad, including countries that do not guarantee an equivalent level of data protection to that provided under Swiss law.
Use of Payment Service Providers
We process payments via PayPal, PayPal Pte. Ltd., 5 Temasek Boulevard, #09-01 Suntec Tower Five, Singapore 038985, Singapore, Concardis, Nets Schweiz AG, Richtistrasse 17, 8304 Wallisellen, Switzerland (CHE-112.885.197) or Klarna, Klarna Bank AB (publ). Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm.

Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, USA, which monitors and records how our website is used. Google Analytics uses cookies — text files stored locally on your computer — to analyse usage of our website. The information generated by these cookies about your use of our website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. This information is available in aggregated form and cannot be attributed to any individual. Google Analytics is integrated using anonymised IP addresses, which are truncated within the EU/EEA. Google is subject to both the CH-US and EU-US Privacy Shield.
Use of Social Media
Our website uses social plugins, in particular those from Facebook and Google+, as well as the microblogging services of Twitter and Instagram. These services are provided by Facebook Inc., Google Inc., Twitter Inc., and Instagram LLC (providers). When you visit one of our web pages that contains a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook, Google, Twitter, or Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from the respective provider to your browser and integrated into the page. By embedding the plugin, information is transmitted to the provider indicating that your browser has accessed our website, even if you do not have a profile with the provider or are not logged in. The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by the providers, as well as your related rights and privacy protection options, can be found in the providers' privacy notices.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your stored personal data against manipulation, partial or complete loss, and unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously updated in line with technological developments. You should always keep your login credentials confidential and close your browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share your computer with others. We also take the privacy of businesses very seriously.
Klarna
"In order to offer you Klarna's payment methods, we may pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna during the checkout process, so that Klarna can assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and tailor the payment methods to you. Your transmitted personal data will be processed in accordance with the Klarna Privacy Policy."
"Billpay's/Klarna's payment options: In order to offer you Klarna's payment options and to assess your eligibility for those options and tailor them to you, we may pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna and Billpay during the checkout process. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and as described in the privacy policies of Klarna [de, fr, it or en versions] and Billpay [de, fr, it or en versions]."
Your Rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you. In addition, you have the right to have inaccurate data corrected and the right to have your personal data deleted, provided there is no statutory retention obligation or authorisation requirement that permits us to continue processing the data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time.
Furthermore, we reserve the right to store your first and last name and address — where shared by you during the order process — along with your title, academic degree, or year of birth in a consolidated list, and to use this data for personalised marketing purposes, such as sending special offers or informational brochures about our products (e.g. newsletters). You have the right to object to the storage and use of your data for this purpose at any time by sending a message to: kontakt@sneakzmarket.ch .
